Mankind Pharma Reports Rs 4,031 Crore Q1 Revenue, PAT Climbs 29%, Exports Up 29%

New Delhi: Mankind Pharma has reported strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, posting a 12.9% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations, a 24.7% rise in EBITDA and a 29.1% growth in profit after tax (PAT), supported by robust domestic business performance, higher export sales and improved operating margins.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 4,031 crore, compared to Rs 3,570 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Domestic revenue stood at Rs 3,426 crore, registering a 10.5% year-on-year growth, while exports increased 29% to Rs 605 crore. EBITDA rose to Rs 1,060 crore, with EBITDA margin improving by 250 basis points to 26.3%. Profit after tax increased to Rs 574 crore, while PAT margin expanded by 170 basis points to 14.2%. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) rose 29.6% year-on-year to Rs 13.7.
Commenting on the results, Vice Chairman and Managing Director Rajeev Juneja said the company's revenue grew nearly 13% year-on-year, supported by a 250 basis point improvement in EBITDA margin. He attributed the performance to disciplined execution and stronger business fundamentals, which led to improvements across key operational and financial metrics during the quarter and strengthened the foundation for long-term sustainable growth.
The company's domestic pharmaceutical business, excluding consumer healthcare, recorded 11% growth, driven by double-digit expansion in the core Mankind business and strong performance from its BSV specialty business. Chronic therapies remained a key growth driver, with the cardiac segment growing 19.4% and the anti-diabetes portfolio increasing 12.7%. The company also reported recovery in acute therapies, supported by outperformance in gastroenterology, vitamins, minerals and nutrients (VMN), and gynaecology segments.
Among key brands, the Telmikind portfolio recorded 21% growth, while Lipirose and Statpure registered 30% and 31% growth, respectively, in the cardiac segment. The Glizid brand family expanded 29%, while BSV brands Foligraf, Humog, and Anti-D grew by 39%, 39% and 23%, respectively. Mankind also retained its No. 1 prescription share in the domestic pharmaceutical market for the ninth consecutive year with a 15.2% prescription share.
The consumer healthcare business recorded 4% revenue growth, partly affected by the higher base of discontinued cash-and-carry operations. Despite the modest growth, the company said it gained market share in brands including Manforce, Preganews and Gas-o-Fast. Modern trade and e-commerce contributed 15% of the segment's business during the quarter compared to 11% in the previous year, supported by 38% growth. Secondary sales of Gas-o-Fast and Ova News increased by 10% and 36%, respectively.
International operations continued to perform strongly, with export revenue increasing 29% year-on-year. During the quarter, Mankind Pharma launched one new product in the US market, taking its cumulative US product launches to 49.
