NPPA Expands I.V. Fluid Price List, Adds 5 Manufacturers and New Packs
New Delhi: The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, has issued an addendum to its earlier orders on the ceiling price fixation of I.V. fluids (non-glass with special features).
The revised notification expands the approved list by adding five new manufacturers and marketers, covering I.V. fluid formulations in Twin Port Euro Head Bottles, Dual Port Plastic Bottles, DRIP EURO/PE Bottles, Euro Head LVP Bags, and Euro Head Bottles.
The notification states:
The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority’s Order No. 1485(E) dated 27th March 2025, 3000(E) dated 4th July 2025 and 3977(E) dated 29.08.2025 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, related to ceiling price fixation of scheduled formulation packs of I.V. fluids (non-Glass with special features), is henceforth to be read with the following additions:
(1) Sl. No. 33, 34, 35, 36 and 37 shall be added in Table ‘B’ as below:

Further clarifications regarding applicable ceiling prices:
(2) Clauses (h5), (h6), (h7) and (h8) are added after clause (h4) & shall be read as follows:
“(h5) In the case of M/s IV Tech Healthcare and M/s Life Infusion Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. mentioned in Sl. No. 33 and 35 respectively of Table B, only the prices of the formulations specified at Sl. No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and Sl. No. 8 of Table A are applicable.”
“(h6) In case of M/s Safal Lifescience Private Limited (Manufacturer) and M/s One Drip Healthcare Private Limited (Marketer) mentioned in Sl. No. 34 of Table B, only the price of the formulations specified at Sl. No. 2, 4, 5 and Sl. No. 7 of Table A is applicable.”
“(h7) In the case of M/s Virchow Biotech Pvt. Ltd. mentioned in Sl. No. 36 of Table B, only the prices of the formulations specified at Sl. No. 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and Sl. No. 8 of Table A are applicable.”
“(h8) In the case of M/s Klokter Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. (Manufacturer) and M/s. Zee Laboratories Limited (Marketer) mentioned in Sl. No. 37 of Table B, only the prices of the formulations specified at Sl. No. 2, 4 and Sl. No. 7 of Table A are applicable.”
