Punjab: On duty medical representative abducted, robbed, 6 booked
Chandigarh: In a shocking incident, a Medical Representative (MR) on duty was allegedly kidnapped and robbed by miscreants who ordered some medicines.
The Zirakpur police station has filed a case under Sections 379-B, 364-A, 365, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code against six unnamed persons, including a woman.

According to a recent media report in The Tribune, the MR identified as Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Jai Jawan Colony, Patiala, stated in his police complaint that he was in the business of supplying medications. He had received a call from one Manpreet Kaur, who had placed an order for some medications.
When he went to deliver the medicines, the lady, drove him to a guesthouse in Zirakpur's Bhabat neighborhood.
Following this, some individuals blocked their path on the way back and forced him into their car, which they drove till late at night. Thereafter, they allegedly left him near the Patiala bypass and departed the area.
He also added that the attackers stole his car, Rs 2,500, his Aadhaar card, and his cellphone.
