Sanofi India CFO Rachid Ayari Resigns
Mumbai: Sanofi India Limited has announced that Rachid Ayari, Whole Time Director, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), will step down from his current roles with effect from the close of business hours on September 30, 2026, following his transition to another role within the Sanofi Group.
The company disclosed the development under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, stating that Rachid Ayari had conveyed his decision through a letter dated July 22, 2026. Following his resignation, he will also cease to be a Senior Management Personnel and a member of the Risk Management Committee with effect from the close of business hours on September 30, 2026.
Sanofi India placed on record its sincere appreciation for Ayari's valuable contributions, expert guidance and dedicated support during his tenure with the company. It further informed that the process to identify a suitable candidate for the position of Chief Financial Officer, who will also serve as a Key Managerial Personnel, is currently underway. The company stated that the stock exchanges will be informed once the appointment is finalized.
As disclosed in the filing, the reason for the change is Ayari's transition to another role within the Sanofi Group. The effective date of cessation is September 30, 2026. The company also clarified that no brief profile is applicable in the case of resignation and that disclosures relating to relationships between directors are not applicable.
In his resignation letter addressed to the Board of Directors and dated July 22, 2026, Rachid Ayari stated that he was stepping down from the positions of Whole Time Director, Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel to pursue another professional opportunity within the Sanofi Group. He confirmed that there was no other material reason for his resignation apart from the stated transition.
Ayari also expressed gratitude to the Board and the management for the trust, support and opportunities extended to him during his tenure with the organization. He conveyed his best wishes for the company's continued growth and success and requested completion of all formalities relating to his resignation, including the filing of statutory forms with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and intimation to other relevant authorities, wherever required.
