Swati Dalal joins Zydus Healthcare as MD

Ahmedabad: Zydus Healthcare Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zydus Lifesciences Limited, has appointed Swati Dalal as its new Managing Director and Additional Director for a period of five years, effective June 16, 2025. Swati Dalal forms a part of the Senior Management of the Company.

"We hereby inform that based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (“the NRC”), the Board of Directors (“the Board”) of Zydus Healthcare Limited (“ZHL”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Zydus Lifesciences Limited (“the Company”) at their meeting held on June 16, 2025, has approved the appointment of Ms. Swati Dalal (DIN: 01513751), as the Additional Director and the Managing Director of ZHL with effect from June 16, 2025 for a period of 5 (five) years," the company stated in a BSE filing.

The said appointment is also approved by the NRC and the Board of the Company on June 16, 2025.

Swati is seasoned commercial leader with rich & diverse experience spanning over 30 years. She started her career with Wockhardt Nutrition & thereafter joined erstwhile Boots. Through subsequent mergers with Knoll, Solvay and Abbott, she progressed in her career with various leadership roles across Abbott. At Abbott she has held various responsibilities, spanning commercial & support functions including as Commercial Director Sales & Marketing, leading support functions of NPI, Business Development & Commercial Excellence and later as Managing Director of Abbott Nutrition & Abbott Primary Care. Her last role at Abbott was Managing Director of Abbott India Ltd. Swati leads and contributes to various employee development initiatives such as Women Leaders of Abbott, Early Career Network and is an advocate of Abbott’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda in India. Swati is also active in various healthcare and nutrition industry forums

Swati holds a pharmacy degree from P.K.M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy, Mumbai and a post-graduate degree in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai.
