RajMES Recruitment 2026: Rajasthan Approves 84 Pharmacist Vacancies Across 21 Government Medical Colleges

Jaipur: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Rajasthan, has announced the RAJMES Recruitment 2026, approving a total of 3,652 vacancies across 21 government medical colleges under the Rajasthan Medical Education Society (RajMES). The recruitment drive includes 3,410 contractual posts under the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Post Rules (RCHR), 2022, along with 242 outsourced positions, making it one of the state's largest healthcare recruitment initiatives.
Among the approved vacancies, 2,861 posts have been earmarked for Staff Nurses, while 84 vacancies are available for Pharmacists. Other posts include Lab Technicians, OT Technicians, Assistant Radiographers, Dialysis Technicians, ECG Technicians, EEG Technicians, Dieticians, Physiotherapists, Dental Technicians, Speech Therapists, Audiometricians, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Medical Record Keepers, and Store Keeper-cum-Record Clerks.
The Staff Nurse vacancies are distributed across 19 existing medical colleges (2,577 posts), Medical College, Tonk (105 posts), and Medical College, Jaisalmer (179 posts). Pharmacist vacancies are similarly spread across the institutions, with 76 posts allocated to 19 medical colleges, four posts to Tonk, and four posts to Jaisalmer.
Apart from contractual appointments, the recruitment plan also includes 242 outsourced positions, comprising 190 Ward Attendants, 38 Machine with Men services, and 14 Security/Home Guard/REXCO personnel.
According to the notification, contractual recruitment will be carried out strictly under the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Post Rules, 2022, while outsourced services will follow the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement (RTPP) Act and Rules. The approved contractual and outsourced engagements will remain valid up to March 31, 2027, and all related expenditure will be borne by the Rajasthan Medical Education Society. Individual contractual appointments will not be permitted under the approved framework.
The notification does not specify details regarding eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, age limit, application dates, examination pattern, or the selection process. These aspects are expected to be announced separately through a detailed recruitment notification issued by the concerned authorities, reports Adda247.
