Overview
Rheumatology is a emerging branch of medicine that deals with the study and management of rheumatic diseases and rheumatologists are on demand with growing rate of rheumatic diseases.
To give us more insights into the symposium, we have with us today the President of the Indian Rheumatology Association, Dr. B. G. Dharamanand.
In this video, Dr. B. G. Dharamanand talks about the new clinical management practices that were emphasized,surge in patients with rheumatology over the past few years with its possible reasons & risk factors,predisposing factors, or primary co-morbidities that may be associated with increased risk of auto-immune illness that a primary care physician may like to be sensitized about,auto-immune diseases that are “perceived as uncommon”, but are not so uncommon in a rheumatologist’s practice chamber in India.
