Punjab: Ludhiana doctor nominated to state medical council
Punjab: Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon, Dr Manoj Kumar Sobti of Sobti Neuro and Super Specialty Hospital, has been nominated as a member to the Punjab Medical Council. Sobti has an experience of 32 years in surgery.
The Punjab government in 1994 had awarded the doctor for his services and in 2013, he was the president of the Indian Medical Association, Punjab.
Dr Sobti had worked as the head of the Neurosurgery Department at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital for 10 years and had launched a new neurosurgery technique known as Stereotactic (Burrhole) surgery in north India after receiving training from Holland and UK.
