SSB organises free medical camp in J&K
"We have organised this camp for the benefit of poor women, old and ailing people. We always make efforts to connect with people for the progress of county"
Doda: Hundreds of people from far-flung areas reached the free medical camp organised by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) as part of their 'Medical Civic Action Programme' in Khellani village in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district.
Trained doctors were present during the camp and checked the patients in the camp. The doctors prescribed and provided them with free medicines.

Dr Faheem Wani, one of the doctors who treated the patients in the camp, told ANI, "The SSB has conducted such beneficial camps in Khelani area earlier as well. Due to the medical camp, many people were benefited and people want many more such camps to be organised in the remote areas for the benefit of poor people who cannot afford proper medication. The SSB had conducted blood donation and plantation camp earlier as well."
Meanwhile, SSB Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Manvendra Negi said that the force always makes efforts to connect with people for the progress of the country.
"We have organised this camp for the benefit of poor women, old and ailing people. We always make efforts to connect with people for the progress of county," he said.
Thanking the SSB for their efforts, Bashir Ahmad, a Sarpanch told ANI, "I thank the SSB for organising such camp and giving free medical care to poor people of the area as we cannot afford costly medicines. We want SSB should continue with this endeavour for poor people in future.
