Delhi: After the agitation at Hindu Rao Hospital and Kasturba Hospital, now the senior doctors from hospitals under the administration of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) on Thursday have also decided to start their agitation from next week demanding Dearness Allowance (DA) and due salary.
The senior doctors will also boycott OPD services until authorities take some steps to solve the issue.
Previously Medical Dialogues reported that resident doctors of NDMC-run Hindu Rao Hospital went on an indefinite strike from Monday. Their salaries have been pending for months and DA, five months. The doctors of the Municipal Corporation Doctor's Association (MCDA) have submitted a letter requesting the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi to take necessary steps to solve the issue.
