ACPPGMEC informs on extension of PG Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing Academic Schedule 2020

Ahmedabad: Through a recent notice, the Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) has informed about the extension in academics schedule of PG medical, Physiotherapy, Nursing and Optometry courses across medical colleges in the state for the academic year 2020-21.

The notice implies that as per the Medical Council of India (MCI) & Dental Council of India (DCI) letters received by the counselling authority, the Councils have extended Post Graduate Medical & Dental admission schedule by two Months in context with the current pandemic situation of Covid-19.

Complying to the same, the ACPPGMEC has extended the admissions schedule.

It is hereby informed to all the Deans/ Principals/P.G Director of affiliated Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing & Optometry Colleges of Gujarat University that last date of admission is July 31, 2020, & Academic Term will be started from July 1, 2020, for Post Graduate Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing & Optometry batch admitted in the academic year 2020-21 only.
