Medical teachers to hold protest rally in Gujarat
Ahmedabad: Coming under the banner of the Gujarat Medical Teachers Association (GMTA), the faculty members from six government colleges and eight Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS) colleges are going to organize a 'Maha Rally' today (December 4) to press for their long pending demands.
The doctors will be arranging a rally and they will start their march from the office of the Taxation Department.
The doctors started their agitation after the government denied to fulfill their demands of higher non-practicing allowance in line with the Seventh Pay Commission recommendations.
