NEET 2025 results: 2 Gujarat Students Secure Spots in Top 10, 9 in Top 100

Gujarat- In a proud moment for Gujarat, nine candidates ranked in the top 100 of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) exam in India, including two in the top 10 for the first time. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the NEET UG 2025 exam result for the academic year 2025 on June 14.
The two candidates who made it to the top 10 are Jenil Bhayani from Surat and Bhavya Jha from Ahmedabad. Jenil Bhayani secured the 6th position with 99.99 percentile and Bhavya Jha secured the 8th position with 99.99 percentile.
Meanwhile, the other 7 candidates are Yashnesh Desai, Namya Paneliya, Rudra Bhaveshi, Neev Mankad, Maulik Bhalgamia, Siddha Vora and Tejas Shah.
Yashnesh secured 41st rank with 99.99 percentile, Namya secured 55th rank with 99.99 percentile, Rudra secured 57th rank with 99.99 percentile, Neev secured 58th rank with 99.99 percentile, Maulik secured 71st rank with 99.99 percentile, Siddha secured 93rd rank with 99.99 percentile and Tejas secured 94th rank with 99.99 percentile.
Eight students from Gujarat made it to the top 100 in NEET 2024, with the highest rank being 33rd.
This year, 81,905 students from Gujarat had registered for NEET, of which 80,151 appeared and 50,040 passed. 7,192 fewer students cleared the exam compared to last year and the overall result has declined by 4%.
Meanwhile, the pass percentage this year stood at 62.43% as 50,040 out of 80,151 students cleared the exam. However, last year the pass percentage was 66.23% with 57,232 students clearing the exam. Also, this year 53,025 students appeared in Gujarati medium, while last year the number was 58,838.
With this, Medical Dialogues has also reported that Mahesh Kumar, a resident of Hanumangarh, Rajsthan, has emerged as the All India Topper, AIR 1, scoring 686 out of 720 marks.
