PG Medical Admissions 2020: ACPPGMEC publishes instructions for Mop Up Counselling

Ahmedabad: The ACPPGMEC has released the instructions for candidates who are going to appear in mop up offline counselling round for admissions to PG medical courses in the state.

Instructions for Mop-Up (Offline) Round of counselling(for Medical PG Course-MD-MS-Diploma only)

1. In view of ongoing COVID- 19 outbreak and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and instructions from Government of Gujarat, ACPPGMEC is going to organize Mop-Up Round for Admission in Medical PG Courses through Video Conferencing at GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar and 06 (six) Govt. Medical Colleges for this academic year (2020-21) only.
2. All the candidates who are included in the Merit-list of ACPPGMEC as well as who applied and became eligible for Medical PG courses after revised/reduced NEET-PG-2020 cut-off can participate in Mop-Up Round, except the candidates, who have secured and joined admission in 50% AIQ/ Deemed/Central Universities/AFMC (Medical PG courses seats of other state) counseling.
3. It is mandatory for all the candidates, who want to participate in the mop-up (offline) round, to give ONLINE CONSENT for participation in the mop-up round.
4. The candidate can take part in the mop-up round without cancelling his admission of the previous rounds.
5. To participate in the mop-up round, the candidates have to log-in in the website http://medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx using their User-ID and Password to give ONLINE CONSENT from 20-07-2020 at 06:00 pm to 22-07-2020 at 4.00 pm only.
6. Candidate can select the Help Center (as mentioned above) for participating in Mop-Up Round at the time of consent.
7. The student, who has not given online consent during the stipulated time, will not be allowed to participate in the mop-up round in any circumstances.
8. After giving consent students have to take a printout of "Consent/Choice Form" available in "Registration Details", which shows the date and time of consent given by him/her along with a place for Mop-Up Round.
9. Candidate has to remain present as per the merit rank on allotted date and time at
his/her Selected Help Center
. The candidate is instructed to bring a copy of "Consent/Choice Form" at the time of offline counseling.
10. All the candidates are instructed to see the number of vacant seats available for Mop-up round and closure of previous round. The admission committee shall allot the seats as per available vacancy and also vacancy arise due to the cascading effect of that particular seats.
11. The candidates will be called as per the merit rank and will be allotted the admission on vacant seats as well as a vacancy arises due to up-gradation of seats during counseling. During mop-up round of counseling, the candidate will be offered a seat as per the previous closure, vacancy and merit rank. If he is not willing to take admission in the offered seat, he can refuse the admission. In such a case, his/her previous admission will remain as it is. If the candidate wants to cancel his/her admission of the previous round, he/she can cancel it at the time of his/her mop-up round of counseling. Tuition fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.
12. The candidate, who have cancelled his/her admission of previous rounds or coming for fresh admission, are required to bring the following original documents at the time of counseling.
a) Consent/Choice Form for Mop-Up Round
b) All MBBS attempt-wise Marksheets
c) 12 months internship completion certificate (8 months internship completion certificate will not be valid for confirmation of admission)
d) Copy of NEET-PG-2020 Marksheet
e) Provisional Registration of State Medical Council OR Medical Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/ Permanent Registration of State Medical Council OR Medical Council of India (In case of old pass out candidates)
f) Document showing the place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)
g) For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only
h) For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha '4' in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only
i) For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only
j) Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign
13. The candidate, who have taken admission in the previous round of ACPPGMEC, have to bring original admission order of ACPPGMEC and receipt of paid tuition fees along with Consent/Choice Form for MopUp Round.
14. The candidate, without original documents and prescribed fees, will not be granted admission under any circumstances.
15. The candidate has to pay tuition fees/difference in tuition fees of one term (six months) by cash / Demand Draft in favor of
"ACPPGMEC"
payable at Gandhinagar at bank facility provided by Admission Committee, immediately. If the candidate has paid tuition fees for admission for previous rounds, fees will be adjusted according to it. Excess fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.
16. In view of the ongoing COVID- 19 outbreak, all the candidates are advised to pay tuition fees, preferably, by Demand Draft.
17. The candidates are advised to come with a specific arrangement of money to pay tuition fees at the time of counseling. The tuition fees of Govt. colleges are minimal, which can be paid by cash/DD, while the maximum fee is Rs. 25,00,000 (25 lakh) (for one term) for the Management Quota seat of MD-Radiology at Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad. So, the candidate can come with Demand Drafts of Rs. 1,00,000/ 2,00,000/ 3,00,000/ 5,00,000/ 10,00,000 based on your choice of subject and college to secure admission in self-financed colleges.
18. The candidate, who will remain absent at the day and time of counseling allotted to them, will have no right for admission.
19. The detailed schedule of Mop-Up round (with date, time and merit no.) will be displayed on the websites (www.medadmgujarat.org) very soon.

20. Candidates should bring an envelope of 11 X 15 inch size. Write the following details on the envelope with a marker pen:

Instructions for confirmation of Admission for 3rd online round

ï‚· Candidate has to take prior appointment for the Document Submission at Help Center. Candidate, himself/herself, can select the Date and Help Center for Document Submission at the time of printing the Allotment Letter.
ï‚· Payment of tuition fees can be done by Online or by cash or by Demand Draft in favor of
"ACPPGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar
at designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC, (List of designated branches of Axis Bank is available on admission committee's website www.medadmgujarat.org) during banking hours (Closed on banking holidays).
ï‚· IMPORTANT: The candidate, who have participated or not participated in 3rd Online Round, the admission of the previous round can also be upgraded in the same college and same subject by the change of category (i.e. ST / SC / SEBC / EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat) or change of quota (State Quota (GQ) to Institutional Quota (UQ)), there is no need to report the help center for confirmation of admission.
A. The candidate, whose allotment have not been upgraded:
ï‚· The candidate, whose allotment have not been upgraded (no change in the admitted subject; no change in admitted college; and no change in admitted category) in 3rd Online Round, need not to report the help center.
B.The candidate, whose allotment have been upgraded:
ï‚· The candidate, whose allotment have been upgraded (change in admitted subject and/or change in admitted college) in 3rd Online Round, have to report the help center for confirmation of admission of 3rd Online Round.
ï‚· For securing admission of 3rd Online Round, the candidate must report to the same help center as reported in the previous round with required documents. For confirmation of admission, take admission order of 3rd Online Round from help center.
ï‚· Payment of tuition fees can be done by online payment gateway or cash or by Demand Draft in favor of "ACPPGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC, (List of designated branches of Axis Bank is available on admission committee's website

) during banking hours (Closed on banking holidays). Fees will be adjusted according to payment of tuition fees / token amount for admission of the previous round. Excess fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.
ï‚· For NRI Candidate: Students have to confirm the admission by reporting at Help Center.
Candidate himself/herself has to collect the tuition fees paid at admitted college in previous Round. Candidate has to pay prescribed tuition fees in US Dollar or equivalent amount in any other foreign currency at the admitted institute in 3rd Online Round, on or before 24th July 2020. ACPPGMEC will refund the deposit amount of Rs. 2.00 lakh after the completion of the whole admission process.
ï‚· For confirmation of allotted admission of 3rd Online Round, the candidates have to submit the following documents as under:
a. Allotment Letter of ACPUGMEC of 3rd Online Round
b. Original Admission Order of ACPUGMEC of previous Round
c. Photocopy of receipt of payment of tuition fees / token amount for previous Round of ACPPGMEC
d. Original Receipt of Payment of Difference of Tuition Fee, if applicable
C.The candidate, who have been allotted seat for the first time:

ï‚· Payment of tuition fees can be done by online payment gateway or cash or by Demand Draft in favor of "ACPPGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC, (List of designated branches of Axis Bank is available on admission committee's website www.medadmgujarat.org) during banking hours (Closed on banking holidays).
ï‚· For NRI Candidate: The candidate who has been allotted seat in NRI category, he/she has to pay Rs. 2.00 lakh (as Refundable Deposit) by online payment gateway or cash or Demand Draft in favor of "ACPPGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC. After that students have to confirm the admission by submitting Original Documents Help Center. Then candidate has to pay prescribed tuition fees in US Dollar or equivalent amount in any other foreign currency at the admitted institute on or before 24th July, 2020. ACPPGMEC will refund the deposit amount of Rs. 2.00 lakh after the completion of the whole admission process.
ï‚· The candidate has to submit their original documents as under:
1. Allotment Letter of ACPPGMEC
2. Tuition Fee Receipt of Axis Bank
3. Tuition Fee Receipt generated through Admission Module
4. All year MBBS attempt-wise mark sheets
5. 12 months internship completion certificate (8 months internship completion certificate will not be valid for confirmation of admission)
6. Copy of current academic year NEET-PG-2020 Marksheet
7. Provisional Registration of State Medical Council / State Dental Council OR Medical/Dental Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of State Medical Council / State Dental Council OR Medical/Dental Council of India (In case of old pass out candidates)

ï‚· Failing to bring any original documents, the candidate will have no right of admission.
