Manipal Tata Medical College Jamshedpur felicitate doctors
Jamshedpur: Lauding the dedication and efforts of medical professionals, Manipal Tata Medical College celebrated Doctors' Day by felicitating eminent doctors for their exceptional contributions to the medical field.
The felicitation ceremony was held at Manipal Tata Medical College in front of renowned dignitaries, faculty members, doctors, and ecstatic students. The celebration included several activities designed to recognize doctors' commitment, compassion, and skill in their efforts to treat patients and save lives.
The dean of Manipal Tata Medical College, Dr Pradeep G, expressed his sincere gratitude for the outstanding contributions made by physicians nationwide. He emphasized the value of resilience, empathy, and lifelong learning in the medical field.
The Manipal Tata Medical College students organized a variety of events, including cultural activities like "singing for unity" by aspiring MBBS students, who participated in activities like singing, dancing, and band performances also. They also used sincere remarks and imaginative artistic representations to show their appreciation and admiration for doctors, reports The Avenue Mail.
During the ceremony, Dr Vijay Kumar, a civil surgeon from Saraikela, and Dr Jujhar Manjhi, a civil surgeon from Jamshedpur, both of whom have made noteworthy contributions to the medical field were honoured for their outstanding accomplishments, devotion to patient care, and ground-breaking research, all of which have benefited lives and healthcare outcomes.
Dr Vijay Kautilya D, Associate Dean (Para Clinical), Dr Vinay A V, Associate Dean (Pre-Clinical), Dr Sachin Kumar Patil, Dr Kavita Rasalkar, Dr Asim Mishra, Dr Sindhu A V, and Dr Maheshwar Prasad (Head Outreach Programme), Mr Kshitij Mohan, Mr Debasis Sinha, Mr K N Upadhyay (Security Officer), and Mr Sanjay Tewari all graced the ceremony with their presence.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr Rajiva Dwivedi (Director Academic Administration & Quality) to all the participants, volunteers who contributed to the success of the Doctor’s Day celebrations.
