IMA opposes lockdown easing in Kerala

Kerala: Pointing towards the inevitable and impending third wave of COVID pandemic, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has urged the Kerala government to withdraw the order of easing out lockdown followed in the state on account of religious gatherings.The association pointed out that reducing COVID restrictions on the occasion of Eid al-Adha is 'unwarranted & inappropriate at this time...
Kerala: Pointing towards the inevitable and impending third wave of COVID pandemic, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has urged the Kerala government to withdraw the order of easing out lockdown followed in the state on account of religious gatherings.
The association pointed out that reducing COVID restrictions on the occasion of Eid al-Adha is 'unwarranted & inappropriate at this time of medical emergency. IMA has also threatened to move the Supreme court if the order easing restrictions is not withdrawn by the state government.
