MP DME issues notice on fee deduction over resignation from MBBS seats allotted during NEET Counselling 2020
Madhya Pradesh: Through a recent notice, Directorate of Medical Education Madhya Pradesh (MP DME) has informed regarding the deduction from Tuition Fee in Case of Resignation from Admitted Seat during NEET 2020 counselling session..
All the concerned candidates who are seeking MBBS and BDS admissions in MP based medical and dental colleges can view the details of the said notice mentioned below:
An admitted candidate from first round counselling if resigns within the stipulated time limit as mentioned in published time schedule will be refunded fee in the registered bank account number endorsed at the time of registration after deduction as given below: -
1) For general candidates 10% of the tuition fee (maximum Rs. 10 Thousand)
Earlier, MP DME had released the revised edition of the fee chart of the medical colleges. The changes observed are in the fee amount of L N Medical College. Earlier, the payable amount was Rs 1266000 which has now been raised to a total of Rs 1300000 without scholarship while the payable amount is Rs 25000 if concessions/scholarships are applied to the fee.
After the revision, the payable amount of NRI seats have also been raised in LN Medical College to Rs 3825000 from the previous amount of Rs 3723000.
Earlier, the DME had released the fee structure of all the colleges of the state as mentioned below
According to the notification, the fee amount to be paid by the candidate for an MBBS course in 13 government colleges is the same as Rs 114000 excluding scholarships.
If a candidate is eligible for Medhavi Yojana, Jankalyan Yojana the scholarship amount provided is Rs100,000 and he/she has to pay a total of Rs 14000. If a candidate is eligible for concession under the reserved category of either ST or SC, the concession amount is Rs 100000 leading to a payable amount of Rs 14000.
