Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that two MBBS students of SRM Medical College, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, drowned in the Arabian Sea at Gokarna in Karnataka's Uttara Kannada district. The two medicos had been identified as Kanimozhi and Hinduja, both aged 23. They were final-year MBBS students.
The students went on a trip to Dandeli-Gokarna and Murdeshwara in Uttara Kannada with a 23-member student group after giving their final MBBS exams.
