State Quota BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSc Nursing Admissions: Maha CET Cell releases schedule, instructions

Mumbai: Through a recent notice, the Maha CET Cell has released the schedule for the state admission process to BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSc Nursing and other health courses this academic year.

This notice has been issued in regard to the schedule of selection and admissions process of the 1st year of BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BPTh/ BOTh/ BASLP/ B(P&O) and B.Sc.(Nursing) Under Graduate Health Science Courses for the Academic Year 2020-2021, in pursuant to the NEET 2020 conducted by Govt. of India on 13.09.2020.

The procedure set out hereunder will apply for the selection of Candidates to be admitted at the State Quota of the following Institutions: -

A. All State Government Colleges;

B. All State Government Aided Colleges;

C. All Unaided Private (including Minority) Professional Institutions in the State of Maharashtra.

The Online Preference Form Filling Process and subsequent Schedule for the first round of admission process for BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BPTh/BOTh/BASLP/B(P&O) and B.Sc. (Nursing) Under Graduate Health Science Courses will have the following major steps.

2. Candidates eligible to fill Online Preference Form for BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BPTh/ BOTh/BASLP/B(P&O) and B.Sc. (Nursing) Courses

1) Candidates who have previously registered for State Quota are eligible for this Round.

2) Candidates from Provisional State Merit list BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BPTh/BOTh/ BASLP/B(P&O) and B.Sc. (Nursing) (NEET-UG - 2020) declared on Dated 02.12.2020 who –

i. Desire to take admission in BAMS-BHMS-BUMS/BPTh/BOTh/BASLP/ B(P&O) and B.Sc. (Nursing) Courses.

ii. Have been allotted a seat for MBBS/BDS and desire to take admission in BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BPTh/BOTh/BASLP/B(P&O) and B.Sc.(Nursing) Courses.

iii. Filled preference for MBBS/BDS but have not been allotted a seat.

3) Candidates should note that, those who want to cancel their previous allotted MBBS/BDS Seats and wants to join BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BPTh/BOTh/BASLP/ B(P&O) and B.Sc.(Nursing) Courses and have allotted a seat and joins in BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BPTh/BOTh/BASLP/B(P&O) and B.Sc.(Nursing) Courses, then he/she will not be eligible for further admission rounds in MBBS/BDS Courses only.

4) Candidates from Provisional State Merit List, who will not submit the Online Preference Form, will NOT BE considered for online admission to BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/ BPTh/BOTh/BASLP/B(P&O) and B.Sc.(Nursing) Courses till the end of this online Admission Process.

5) The allotment of the seat to a college is subject to the approval of all concerned authorities, if any candidate fills preference of only NOT permitted colleges, he/she may not be selected for the course. It will be the sole responsibility of the candidate for such nonselection and State CET Cell will not be responsible for the same.

6) Preference once filled and submitted will be used for the whole admission process and are not editable.

7) Candidates should take note of the above and fill in the maximum possible preferences.

8) Candidates eligible for BAMS/BHMS/BUMS as per eligibility criteria declared by Concern Central Council/AYUSH from time to time will only be allotted seat for these Courses.
