Odisha cabinet approves Rs 888.50 crore tender for SCB Medical College Hospital expansion
The work is targeted for completion within a period of 24 (Twenty four) calendar months.
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet has approved the lowest negotiated Turnkey Tender of M/s NCC Limited, amounting to Rs.888.50 crore for construction of Residential Accommodation (Staff Quarters & Hostels) and allied Infrastructure of SCB Medical College and Hospital on Turnkey basis
The state Government had earlier taken a decision for implementation of Redevelopment and expansion of SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack under Phase I.

The State Cabinet held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday took thirteen major decisions relating to the departments of Energy, Industries, School and Mass Education, Water resources, Fisheries and Animal Resource development, Housing and Urban development, Law, Works and Parliamentary
Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra told newsmen that the major decisions included approval of the projects for solving the low voltage problem in different areas of the State, career advancement policy for multilingual Sikshya Sahayaks, construction of Sandul barrage project in Kalahandi district, construction of underground pipeline irrigation system from Rangali right irrigation system for irrigation in Dhenkanal and Cuttack districts and, construction of underground pipeline from Anandapur barrage for irrigation in Balasore district.
