Postponement of online registration for BSc, MSc, MPH, PGD, PGF, PBD, PhD entrance exams 2020: JIPMER issues notice
Puducherry: Through a recent notice, the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER Puducherry) has informed about the postponement of online registration opening date for BSc, MSc, MPH, PGD, PGF, PBD, PhD courses entrance examinations 2020-21.
The notice clearly states:
It is hereby informed that in the wake of COVID -19 outbreak and the subsequent nation-wide lockdown, the online registration opening date of Entrance Examinations for BSc, MSc, MPH, PGD, PGF, PBD, PhD courses is postponed till further orders.
Date of the Entrance Examination: 21.06.2020, Sunday (Tentative).
Candidates are advised to keep visiting the JIPMER official website (www.jipmer.edu.in) for the latest information.
Earlier, the institute had released the B.Sc( Nursing ) II, III & IV year Send up Practical Examination Schedule.

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) can trace its origins to the 'Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry' established by the French Government in 1823. In 1956 foundation for new medical college was laid and in 1964, the hospital was inaugurated. JIPMER became an institution of national importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the year 2008.
