Medical Aspirant preparing for NEET in Kota Found Dead On Tracks
Kota: An eighteen-year-old medical aspirant from Maharashtra fell off a passenger train and died.
Speaking to PTI, the police informed, "The body of the deceased aspirant was found on the Delhi-Mumbai railway track in Bundi district Wednesday morning with a wound to the head."
The student carried no papers on him nor anything in the way of a suicide note, police said.
They said it was likely that the youth fell off a train and hurt himself.
His body was collected by his father on Thursday after a postmortem, they said.

He came from the Sangli district in Maharashtra and had been living with his mother in Kota.
The student was taking classes in the coaching hub Kota in Rajasthan to give the entrance test NEET for medical studies, reports NDTV
“His father was too shocked to give a statement,” Assistant Sub-Inspector Babulal Nagar, posted at Lakehri Police Station, said.
It was learnt that he had left his room without his mobile phone on Tuesday evening, he said.
On Wednesday morning, police received a memo from the station master about a body lying on tracks at the Papdi Railway Gate near Lakheri Railway Station, he said. Police rushed the injured youth to a local hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Since the body had no identity papers, a picture of it was circulated locally.
Some students approached Jawahar Nagar Police Station in Kota and identified the deceased as a coaching student, following which his father was called, the ASI said.
Police have lodged a case of accidental death under section 194 of BNSS, he added.
Medical dialogues team had earlier reported that a 20-year-old NEET-UG aspirant from Uttar Pradesh allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his paying guest (PG) accommodation in Dadabadi, Kota.
Although the exact reason for his step is unclear, the initial findings of the police investigation suggest that he had been battling a neurological disorder and was receiving treatment for it.
The incident occurred Wednesday night after the student returned to his room after attending coaching classes at around 1 pm. However, he failed to respond to knocks on the door of his room and calls from family members following which the caretaker of the PG alerted the police. After police arrived at the scene, they entered the room and found his body hanging from the ceiling.
