Jaipur: Through a recent notice, the NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Board 2020 of Rajasthan has released the Round 2 counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions this year.

All the MBBS and BDS aspirants seeking admissions in Rajasthan based medical and dental colleges are requested to view the schedule attached below:

The allotment procedure (Round 2, off-line) for MBBS and BDS courses will be carried out as per the schedule given below:

Tentative schedule for allotment process

A pplication form (Round 2)

Start date for filling of on-line application form and deposition of required application fee

Candidates who completed application form for round 1 need not apply again for round 2 but can edit limited information through candidate login. Candidates who did not complete both the parts (Part 1 and Part 2) of the application form for round 1 may now complete their Part 2 of the application form.

Application form filling is mandatory for allotments.

A candidate who does not fill application form will not be eligible for allotment. Both the parts (Part 1 and Part 2) of the application form must be filled and completed.

Last date for depositing the application fee at the website

Last date for submitting the on-line application form at the website

( applicable for MBBS seats only, not applicable for BDS seats)

For Govt., Govt. Society colleges, RUHS CMS - INR 10000 (5000 for SC/ST/OBC/MBC candidates)

For private medical colleges – INR 1.0 lakh

Document verification before the Board for PwD, Defence/PM, STA and NRI candidates (who have not been verified earlier) as per the notification to be made available at the website

Seat allotment before the Board at the venue at Govt. Dental College, Jaipur (GDC, Jaipur)

At the spot on the same day along with submission of all original document and other documents as listed in instruction booklet

11.12.2020 to 17.12.2020

(as per schedule to be notified separately at the website)

Reporting cum joining by candidates, deposition of prescribed admission fee through Demand draft / electronic mode and 2 copies of application form alongwith all relevant documents (self attested) and undertaking, completion of all other formalities including bond/bank guarantee at the desk of concerned college at the specified venue

Candidates who reported in Round 1 shall bring Fee receipt (in original)

11.12.2020 to 21.12.2020

Appearance before the Medical board at the allotted college

21.12.2020 to 22.12.2020

(9.00 am to 4.00 pm)

Mop-up round (off-line) will be conducted to fill-up seats remaining vacant after completion of round 2 off-line counseling. For this purpose, fresh application form shall be opened before mop-up round also on all India basis. Detailed programme for mop-up round will be announced later on website.

The candidates must read the following instructions/information carefully:
1. All registered candidates who wish to participate in round 2 off-line counseling must present themselves personally before the Board on the stipulated date and time. To participate, print 'Entry Ticket' through candidate's login and carry the same. In case, a candidate is unable to attend counseling in person, due to Covid or otherwise, then his/her near relative may present himself/herself alongwith all requisite original documents and an authority letter (having photo and signature of the representative duly verified by the candidate) and photo ID of the representative.
2. Eligibility to participate in Round 2
All State registered candidates are eligible to participate in Round 2 but as per Hon"ble Supreme Court directions in Writ Petition No. 267/2017 DAR-Us-SLAM Education Trust & Ors Vs MCI & Ors, candidates who have joined through admission by counseling conducted by Medical Counseling Committee, DGHS, Govt. of India after Round 2 of NEET UG seats or through any other counseling will not be allowed to participate in Round 2 and further rounds of State Counseling.
3. Forfeiture of fee / Permissibility to students to participate in Round 2 counseling
All candidates willing to participate must deposit, if not deposited earlier, on-line INR 10,000/- (INR 5,000 for SC/ST/OBC/MBC) for allotment in Govt. / Govt. Societies Medical Colleges / RUHS CMS and INR 1,00,000/- (for allotment in Private Medical colleges) by 08.12.2020, 5.00 pm, failing which they will not be considered for admission on a seat in a college in Round 2. No amount will be accepted at the spot.
In Round 1, those candidates who deposited only INR 10,000/- or 5,000/- as the case may be and who filled choices of Govt. colleges only and now wish to opt for private colleges also (along with Govt. colleges) are required to deposit the difference amount of INR 90000 or INR 95000 (as the case may be) on-line by 08.12.2020, 5.00 pm, failing which they will not be considered for admission on a seat in a private college. No amount will be accepted at the spot.
A candidate who gets allotted a seat in second round of counseling and does not report/ join the allotted seat, his/her registration fee will be forfeited. Such candidate shall not be eligible to participate in subsequent round.
4. Submission of original documents
All candidates who wish to participate in round 2 off-line counseling must bring all the original documents and undertaking (as given in the information booklet available at the website) and accepted resignation from the institution he/she is pursuing studies at present or from the college allotted through any other counseling. Failure to do so will result in disqualification for admission.
In round 2 off-line counseling, a candidate who gets fresh allotment shall deposit his/her original documents alongwith undertaking.
5. Candidates who joined Round 1 seat
Candidates who have joined the allotted college in round 1 and wish to retain the same college / seat need not come to participate in round 2 physically; their existing allotted seat will be retained as such. A candidate who retains his/her round 1 allotment in round 2 counseling will have to submit remaining fees as applicable as per the guidelines given in the respective college website along with bond / bank guarantee / payment through other modes (for fees of remaining years) by the last date of reporting of second counseling.
6. Resignation
Reported candidate of round 1 allotments who does not get up-graded and does not get seat of his/her choice during second round (off-line) counseling may resign at his/her merit point at the spot without forfeiture of Registration Fee, failing which he will be considered as part of joined candidates for round 2 and rules will apply accordingly.
No candidate will be allowed to resign from the State Quota seats after allotment in round 2 off-line.
7. The allotment of the subject and college shall be made strictly on the basis of merit cum preference as per the reservation policy and in accordance with the rules laid down by MCI/DCI/Hon'ble Supreme Court of India / Hon'ble High Court, Rajasthan / Government of Rajasthan and RUHS.
8. The norms of reservation of the State Government of Rajasthan will be applicable only for bonafide candidates of the State of Rajasthan. They will have to produce a valid certificate as per State Govt. rules.
9. No individual information shall be sent to the candidates.
10. All the allotment procedures will be provisional and will be subject to the Final Decisions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India/ Hon'ble High Court of Rajasthan in various related matters.
11. The decision of the UG Admission Board-2020 will be final and binding on all the candidates. In case of any dispute, the area of jurisdiction will be Hon'ble Rajasthan High Court only.
The candidates are required to refer information booklet etc. and other information at the website and also visit the website regularly.
To handle effectively the present pandemic situation, State Govt. has issued various guidelines including the requirement of maintaining social distancing. It is expected that all follow the same. During the allotment process also, co-operation is solicited from all candidates. It is our social responsibility also to avoid unnecessary gatherings, under the prevailing situation.
All candidates must wear face mask and face shield properly.
