Hyderabad: Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender has urged medical fraternity to focus on unexpected medical expenditure to the people.
Speaking after inaugurating Medical Conference on "Rejuvenating Medical Minds" organized by Brahma Kumaris in association with Government of Telangana and Department of AYUSH Govt of India here on Sunday, Mr Rajender said that the state government has taken up several initiatives for the development of health sector including the implementation of Aarogyasree and improving government hospitals.
But the people particularly poor are facing lot of problem when they were facing unexpected medical expenditure during accidents and other health related issues. They do not have house and land to pledge. So need to fill this gap. Urging medical fraternity to focus in this area, Mr Rajender said the state government is also working in this direction.
He said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao always stating that no one country or state would not develop without creating healthy, knowledge and peaceful state. In this context, the state government has taken up several initiatives for converting the human resources as qualitative resources, he said.
We are not discussing on global warming and ecological balances but TRS government was working in this direction. As part of it, the state government had constructed Kaleswara Projet and implementing " Telanganaku Haritha Haram" to increase greenery. For creating knowledge, the government was also establishing Residential Schools across the state, the Minister said.
Stating that water is very important for every life, Mr Rajender said Kaleswaram project water is Rejuvenating several tanks in the state.
