According to the report by Amar Ujala, the fraudsters sought online applications for 26 posts of storekeeper and senior storekeeper in the name of AIIMS Gorakhpur. Previously, it has been uploaded on a website called Government Jobs. In this, applications were sought for 20 posts of storekeepers and 6 posts of senior storekeeper. The last date of application was released on February 3, which is now over. They had also posted a link for the jobseekers to apply. Selection is reported to be through an interview. Whereas till now no such application has been released from AIIMS administration.
AIIMS administration has completely denied posting any opening for such job vacancies or inviting any kind of online application. In charge of the AIIMS Media Coordination Team, Prof. Harishankar Joshi confirmed that "this application is fake on the whole and is misleading. It has nothing to do with AIIMS", reports a daily. AIIMS authorities advised the unemployed to not fall for this as AIIMS never issues applications like this. If the AIIMS administration issues the application, it also releases it on its official website. Hence, job seekers must confirm the news from the official website before applying for any such job.
While commenting on the matter AIIMS doctor and head of media management committee, Dr HS Joshi told TOI "I got information that some websites are spreading fake messages about job openings in Gorakhpur AIIMS. When I looked upon the internet, I found the information was true. So, I informed the executive director of AIIMS, and filed a complaint with the cyber cell, and also sent copies to DM an SSP."
The advertisement stated that the link to fill the form was given by AIIMS Patna and even it instructed the jobseekers to visit a fake link for knowing eligibility criteria. "Some websites are spreading fake information regarding direct recruitment in Gorakhpur AIIMS. I want to make it clear that all such information or advertisements are misleading and should not be believed. The true information is available only on our website https://aiimsgorakhpur.edu.in/," he further added.
