MBBS student allegedly assaulted by security guards on Muzaffarnagar's medical college campus

Muzzaffarnagar: In a shocking incident of violence, an MBBS student of Begrajpur Medical College, Muzzaffarnagar, was allegedly chased and assaulted by security guards on campus following a dispute over bike parking.
A video showing the student being brutally beaten, punched, kicked, and dragged on the floor has gone viral on social media, triggering outrage among doctors and students.
In protest, the medical students of the colleges staged demonstrations on campus, demanding suspension of the guards and FIR against them. They also alleged that the students face routine harassment over vehicle entry.
As per the latest media report by Dainik Bhaskar, the accused security guards dragged the student into the guard room, where they slammed his head against the wall. As soon as the student fell to the ground, several guards began kicking him in the chest and face.
The incident took place after the student on his bike arrived at the college, and a guard prevented him from taking his bike inside. This led to an argument between them, and several guards arrived shortly afterwards. It has been alleged that the guards abused the student. Soon, the argument turned violent, and the guard allegedly began beating him.
Hearing the noise, other students from the hostel and security department employees gathered at the scene and started a protest. After receiving the information, police from the Mansoorpur police station arrived at the scene and pacified the students with assurance that a case would be registered agaisnt the guards.
Sharing the video of the incident on the social media platform 'X', a doctor said, "Medical colleges charge lakhs from students in the name of safety and security, yet the very students are being assaulted within the campus. Is there no fear of law left?"
