Tubectomy Camp in Rajasthan: Doctors allegedly click, share inappropriate pictures on whatsapp; inquiry ordered
On November 30 (Saturday) a tubectomy camp was arranged at Gudha Malani Community Health Centre. A woman showed up for tubectomy surgery. However, insensitive photographs were taken allegedly by the staffs while the lady was being operated upon and shared on the medical staff's Whatsapp group.
Barmer: Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) and the District Collector(DC) of Barmer has ordered separate probes to look into a recent case, wherein, doctors at a Community Health Centre clicked inappropriate pictures of a woman, who came for tubectomy and shared the pictures on WhatsApp group that soon started doing rounds on social media.
According to a recent media report, on November 30 (Saturday) a tubectomy camp was arranged at Gudha Malani Community Health Centre. A woman showed up for tubectomy surgery. However, insensitive photographs were taken allegedly by the staffs while the lady was being operated upon and forwarded on WhatsApp group of medical staff.
The objectionable pictures were further shared in other groups allegedly by the doctors which soon went viral. In the pictures, many unnecessary staffs could be seen inside the OT apart from the doctors.

Barmer district collector and CMHO have ordered separate inquiries into the matter, suggests a report by Times Now.
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported about four doctors who were booked by the police for allegedly filming a female patient while she came in for a medical examination and thereafter releasing the video on social media.
