New Delhi: A Walk-in-interview will be held on 09th January 2019 at 11:00 AM in Govt. Doon Medical College, Dehradun for various faculty positions of Government Doon Medical College, Dehradun ( 2nd Renewal received for 2018-19). The appointments will be made on contractual basis initially for one year, which may be further extendable on yearly basis or till regular appointment are duly made. The vacancies in various departments are as follows:

The vacancies are in the Department of Rural Training Health Centre, Urban Training Health Centre, TB & Chest, Biochemistry, General Surgery, Antenatal Officer, Physiology, Radiology, Community Medicine Epidimologist, Community Medicine Urban Training Centre, Community Medicine (Departmental), Pathology, Forensic Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Anaesthesia, Biochemistry, Pathology, Blood Bank, Radiology, General Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Biochemistry, Blood Bank.

Essential Qualification and Age limit: As per the Medical Council of India New Delhi norms.

Salary & Increment:
Professor: Rs 1,43,000/PM with annual increment @ Rs 6000.
Associate Professor: Rs 1,23,000/PM with annual increment @ Rs 6000.
Assistant Professor: Rs. 95,000/PM with annual increment @ Rs 3600.
Lady Medical Officer: Rs. 48,000/PM

Accommodations: Rent free accommodation or House rent as per Govt. of Uttarakhand rules.
Reservation: As per Government of Uttarakhand rules.
Other Conditions: The Chairman of Interview committee reserves the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason. Number of posts advertised may be increased or decreased as per requirement. Candidates must bring their resume along with original MBBS, MD/MS and DM/M.Ch degree (for super specialty). Candidate should also bring Medical Council Registration certificate, undergraduate teaching experiences, No objection certificate (NOC) from last employer in case of presently working in Government service, all indexed original research publications as per MCI and a set of self attested photocopies thereof. Two recent passport sized colour photographs are needed at the time of interview. The candidate should join the institution within 10 days of issuance of appointment letter. No TA/DA will be given to attend the interview.

    IT IS STALE , THE INTERVIEW DATE 09-01 -2019…….. THIS ARTICLE IS MEANINGLESS & MORE OF A SPACE OCCUPYING LESION. IT LOOKS TO ME THERE ARE HARDLY 50% OF THE FACULTY MEMBERS IN THIS GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE ? MCI IS SUPPOSE TO DE RECOGNISE THIS COLLEGE ( SUCH MEDICAL COLLEGES ). BEING GOVERNMENT MOST OF COLLEGES GET RECOGNITION DESPITE NOT FULL-FILLING THE REQUIREMENTS . WRONG DOINGS , INJUSTICE , UNLAWFUL ACTIVITES SEEMS TO BE RIGHT OF THESE COLLEGES . GOVERNMENTS SHOULD SET RIGHT / IDEAL EXAMPLE TO REST OF THE PRIVATE MEDICAL COLLEGES ACROSS THE COUNTRY . UNFORTUNATELY IT IS OTHER WAY . LOOK AT REMUNERATION IT\’S PATHETIC ? . THAT\’S WHY MOST THE DOCTORS JUST DISAPPEAR TO THEIR PRIVATE PRACTICE SOON AFTER ATTENDANCE IF IT BIOMETRIC , OTHERWISE THEY SIGN MUSTER / ATTENDENCE REGISTER AS PER WHIMS AND FANCIES. OR UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE DEAN DIRECTOR / SECRETARIES AND FACULTY MEMBERS. IT IS NOT UNCOMMON TO DOCTORS ONLY ON THE DAY OF MCI VISIT . WHAT HAPPENED TO BIOMETRIC ATTENDENCE INSTALLED BY MCI GOD ONLY KNOWS , I DON\’T ANY BODY SERIOUS ABOUT THOSE THOUSANDS OF MACHINES INSTALLED BY MCI ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
