Walk in Interview: SAIL Durgapur releases 22 Vacancies For GDMO, Specialist Posts, Details
Durgapur -The Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL Durgapur) West Bengal has released 22 vacancies for General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) and Specialist posts on Contractual Basis. The selection will be done on the basis of walk-in-interview.
Schedule for the Walk-in-Interview:
Date: 16th July, 2019 (Tuesday)
Time: From 10:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M
Venue: At Confluence, Office of Director (M&HS), DSP Main Hospital Durgapur- 713205, Paschim Bardhaman.West Bengal- 713325 on 16-7-2019.
The Vacancies are in the Department of Medicine, OHS(Occupational Health and Safety), Anaesthesia, Orthopaedic, Chest, Blood Bank, Radiology, Physiatry, Surgery, Dermatology, General Duty Medical Officer.

GDMO- MBBS with Minimum of 5 years' experience.
Specialist Posts
-MBBS with PG Diploma in a specialty with Minimum of 3 years' experience.
-MBBS with PG Degree in a specialty with Minimum of 2 years' experience
AGE LIMIT:
Upper age limit
The upper age limit for contractual engagement under this Scheme is 70 years. However, the doctors to be engaged should be fit to perform his/her duty.
Remuneration:
For GDMO: Rs. 60,000/- Per Month with Minimum of 5 years' experience.
For Specialist Posts -
Rs. 75,000/- for PG Diploma in a specialty with Minimum of 3 years' experience.
Rs. 90,000/- Per Month for PG Degree in a specialty with Minimum of 2 years' experience
(i) Selection of the candidates for contractual engagement as GDMO / Specialists will be done through walk-in interview.
(ii) Engagement as GDMO/ Specialists will start shortly after the selection of the candidate is completed and orders are issued for engagement as GDMO/ Specialists.
(iii) Candidates responding to the advertisement for "ENGAGEMENT OF DOCTORS IN MEDICAL DISCIPLINES ON CONTRACT BASIS AT DSP" will have to submit an undertaking (Annexure-A) in this regard.
Termination of Contract:
The contractual engagement under the Scheme can be terminated by giving one months' notice by either party. However, in Case of poor performance, the contract can be terminated immediately.
GENERAL CONDITION:
1. Candidate must be an Indian national possessing requisite qualification from an institute recognized by State Govt. /Central Govt.
2. Eligible & interested candidate may appear in the walk-in-interview on the date, time & venue a with all relevant documents (original + 1 set self-attested photocopies):
a. Filled in application format (Annexure-B) with 4 additional passport size recent colour photographs.
b. Pass certificate & mark-sheets for educational qualification.
c. Experience Certificate showing relevant post qualification experience from the employer. (In case of retired employees, service certificate issued by the parent organization should be given).
d. Proof of date of birth (Class X pass certificate of recognized board/council OR Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Birth & Death).
e. Valid Registration Certificate issued by any State Medical Council.
f. Photo Identity Proof (EPIC, PAN, Aadhar Card, Driving License)
g. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
h. Undertaking for pt. 5 (iv) above w.r.t. voluntary retirement / separation.
