Chandigarh: Haryana minister Anil Vij today said stern action will be taken against "unnecessarily" referring patients outside civil hospitals of the state.
Vij, who flagged off 'Advance Life Saving' ambulance in Ambala Cantt, said even though civil hospitals had all modern facilities, doctors kept referring the patients outside.
"All modern healthcare facilities such as a cath lab, dialysis, CT scan and other emergency services are functional in the civil hospital at Ambala Cantt," Vij said.
"Apart from it, the newly launched ambulance will be helpful in saving the lives of people in emergencies as it has been equipped with all life-saving devices and medicines," he added
