Dr. Mahipal Sachdev MBBS, MS OPHTHALMOLOGY, DNB, MNAMS, FRCS 1, FICO 2(UK) is the Chairman & Medical Director at Centre For Sight Group of Eye Hospitals. Earlier he was working as Assistant Professor at AIIMS (1987), Associate Professor at AIIMS (1991-96), and Sr. Consultant at Indrapratha Apollo Hospital (1996). He was awarded Padamshri in January 2007, FAICO by AIOS in 2020, and Centre for Sight has been recently awarded as “The Best Single Specialty Hospital- Ophthalmology” at the Times Health Care Achievers Awards. Dr. Mahipal was the first to install Zyoptix (Bladeless LASIK) in India and first to introduce Phakic IOLs in India. He authored the First book on Phacoemulsification in India.
