AIIMS DM Neurology entrance topped by Telangana doctor
The doctor-Dr Billa Srujana is a native of Dubbaka of Siddipet district. Dr Surjana has pursued her MBBS from Osmania University. She then completed the MD from Gandhi Hospital.
Siddipet: The entrance exam of the Neurology Super Speciality Department conducted by the country's premier institute, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi was topped by Telangana doctor, who came out with flying colours as she bagged the first rank.
The doctor-Dr Billa Srujana is a native of Dubbaka of Siddipet district. Dr Surjana has pursued her MBBS from Osmania University. She then completed the MD from Gandhi Hospital.
The entrance examination results were released on November 26, 2019.
Earlier this year, Dr Yegurla Jatin had secured the top rank in the entrance examination of AIIMS DM (Doctorate in Medicine) Gastroenterology super speciality.

Recently, Dr Srujana made it to the toppers list released by AIIMS. She is married to Praneeth, who is an assistant professor at AIIMS, Delhi, reports The Hans India.
The premier institute AIIMS, Delhi is governed by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1956. It was established in 1956 in New Delhi after then Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's initial proposal to set up the institute in Calcutta was turned down by the then Chief Minister of West Bengal Bidhan Chandra Roy.
