All hospitals to be connected via hotline for uninterrupted electricity supply: Haryana Health Minister

Chandigarh: Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Monday said that for the convenience of patients, all primary health centers, community health centers, subdivisions and district hospitals of the State will be connected to the hotline for uninterrupted availability of electricity.


He said that many times it has been highlighted that how the hospitals, because of the erratic power distribution issue have faced problems in their daily routines, therefore now all the district hospitals will be connected to the hotline for uninterrupted availability of electricity.

The Minister said that apart from this, high capacity generator sets, as per requirement will also be made available in all hospitals. He said that directions have been given in this regard. He said that this facility is already being provided in many hospitals of the state, but some hospitals which are deprived of this facility will also be provided generator sets soon.
