Madhya Pradesh: To ensure supply of medicines in AYUSH hospitals, says State Ayush Minister
Bhopal: Minister of State for AYUSH, Shri Ramkishore Kavre has directed the departmental officers to ensure the supply of medicines as per the requirement in the AYUSH hospitals of the state.
He directed the officers to complete all the construction works of the department within the stipulated time frame. Minister of State Shri Kavre was addressing a meeting of departmental officers in Mantralaya today. Principal Secretary Shri Prateek Hajela and Commissioner Mr. Ramesh Kumar were also present.
Minister of State Shri Kavre reviewed the purchase-related matters, the time scale pay scale of the employees, the cases prevailing in the court, and the progress of the works under construction. Minister of State Shri Kavre gave instructions to set up yoga sheds in 362 health wellness centers operating in the state.
He said that the progress of the schemes run under the National AYUSH Mission should be continuously reviewed. He also directed the officers to review the fixed period of deputation workers in colleges. It was informed in the meeting that the process of recruitment for the vacant posts in the department is being done expeditiously. There are also 200 community health officers among them.
President's proposed visit to Ujjain
Minister of State Shri Kavre also reviewed the preparations for the proposed visit of President Shri Ram Nath Kovind to Ujjain on May 29 in the meeting. The President will attend the 59th General Conference of All India Ayurveda Mahasammelan on May 29. Free trade of Ayurveda medicines and other related issues will be discussed in the General Assembly.
Governor's visit to Balaghat
Minister of State Shri Kavre also reviewed the preparations for the proposed visit of Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel to Balaghat on May 8. The Governor will also participate in the programs organized in Paraswada on the same day. He also reviewed the efforts being made for the prevention of sickle cell disease in the tribal areas.
