AYUSH admissions 2026: KNRUHS extends registration deadline till September 28

As per the latest notification, candidates can now complete their online registration and submit their application up to 5:00 PM on September 28, 2026.

The extension has been announced in continuation of the University's earlier notification, concerning admissions to undergraduate AYUSH courses under the Competent Authority Quota.

Such candidates can complete their registration through the designated AYUSH admission portal within the revised deadline.

The extension covers four undergraduate AYUSH programmes: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), and Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS).

NEET UG 2026 CUT-OFF

Candidates should have secured the cutoff score or above in NEET UG 2026. The minimum qualifying score is 213 at the 50th percentile for General/Unreserved/EWS candidates, 194 at the 45th percentile for PwD candidates belonging to UR/EWS, and 177 at the 40th percentile for SC/ST/BC candidates and PwD candidates belonging to these categories.

NATIONALITY & DOMICILE

A candidate for admission into Undergraduate AYUSH courses under Competent Authority Quota in Telangana should be an Indian National (or) Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholder and shall fulfil the following conditions-

1 The candidate should have studied in the Educational Institutions in the state of Telangana for a period of not less than four(4) consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or, as the case may be, first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination.

OR

2 Where during the whole or any part of the four(4) consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be, first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in Educational Institutions, he/she should have resided in the state of Telangana for a period of not less than four(4) years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination, in which he/she appeared or as the case may be, first appeared.

3 Further, in case the candidate has not studied in any educational institution and has resided in the state of Telangana as stated at (ii) above, to be eligible for admission into Undergraduate AYUSH courses under Competent Authority Quota, the candidate should have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination in the State of Telangana.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidates seeking admission into BAMS/BHMS/BNYS Courses should have passed Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board with Physics and Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English.

i OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% Marks in the science subjects.

ii BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% Marks in the science subjects.

iii BC/SC/ST PWD candidates should obtain not less than 40% Marks in the science subjects.

iv OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45%Marks in the science subjects.

v Candidates claiming reservation under the EWS Category also should obtain 50% marks in the science subjects.

PROCEDURE OF FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION AND ONLINE PAYMENT FOR BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS COURSES

i The registration fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.

ii The registration fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances.

iv Visit the website through a computer with an Internet connection to fill the application form. Fill in all the details in the online application form and upload all the documents which are mandatory.

v Registration number shall be sent to the registered mobile number after entering the basic data and should be noted for further use. The Registration number should be kept confidential and not disclosed to others.

Online application forms without uploading mandatory Certificates, passport-size photo, without signature at the declaration area, or incomplete applications will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories using NEET-UG-2026 rank.

VERIFICATION FEES FOR BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS COURSES

The Registration and verification fee is Rs.2,500/-(Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC category candidates and for SC/ST category candidates is Rs 2,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra). Fee shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking. Registration and verification fee, once paid, shall not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.

DOCUMENTS

The following Documents are required (PDF format)-

a Admit card of NEET UG-2026.

b Rank card of NEET UG-2026.

c SSC or equivalent examination containing the Date of Birth.

d Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination, i.e., Intermediate or Equivalent examination.

e Pre-Tib examination Certificate for BUMS course, if applicable.

f Transfer certificate (T.C).

g Study Certificate(s) from 9th class to Intermediate.

h Latest Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) claiming reservation under BC/SC/ST Categories issued by competent authority of Govt. of Telangana.

i Aadhaar Card.

j Minority certificates issued by the concerned Department.

k Candidates who have not studied in any educational institutions have to submit 4 years (years of period to be specified) residence certificate of the candidate for the period of study issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Govt. of Telangana for candidates appeared privately (for open school candidates).

l The candidates claiming fee exemption shall produce the latest Income certificate of the Parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Govt. of Telangana.

m Undertaking in the form of an affidavit by the parent and candidate stating that the caste and area mentioned in the certificates are genuine and they will be held responsible for any further consequences as per law if any discrepancy is noticed.

n Candidates claiming eligibility for reservation under Special categories CAP should furnish the required certificate in support of their claim.

o EWS Certificate issued after April, 2026 and valid for the year 2026-27 for claiming reservation under EWS Categories issued by Competent Authority (Tahasildar) of State of Telangana (If applicable).

p NCC certificate for award of Grace marks.
