KNRUHS extends registration deadline for nursing admissions 2026
Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, recently extended the online registration deadline for admissions to the BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing courses for the academic year 2026-27.
The extension applies to admissions under the Competent Authority Quota in Telangana. The University announced the revised deadline through a notification.
As per the latest notification, candidates can now complete their online registration for the two nursing programmes up to 5:00 PM tomorrow, i.e. September 27, 2026.
Earlier, the registration process was scheduled to close at 5:00 PM on September 24, 2026.

The latest notification has been issued in continuation of the University's earlier admission notifications.
Candidates seeking admission to either of the nursing programmes under the Competent Authority Quota should therefore complete their registration within the extended timeline.

FEE STRUCTURE: The Fee Structure for Competent Authority Quota seats. As fixed by the Government of Telangana.
Note: The process of admissions into B.Sc. (Nursing) 4-YDC course will be in accordance with the rules issued from time to time by Indian Nursing Council/Government of Telangana and Rules and Regulations of KNRUHS. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to verify for eligibility under local/non local category.
CATEGORIZATION OF SEATS:
i. Sixty percent (60%) of the total number of seats in Private institutions shall be filled as Competent Authority Quota seats by University.
ii. Forty percent (40%) seats shall be filled as Management Quota seats by the Managements of Private Colleges.
iii. In respect of the Government colleges 100% seats shall be Competent Authority Quota, will be filled by the University
