AYUSH Ministry issues cut off date for UG, PG Admissions 2020
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the AYUSH Ministry has informed about the last date for concluding the Admission process in Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy Colleges for the academic session 2020-21.
All the concerned candidates who are aspiring BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS, and PG AYUSH courses are requested to view the said details issued by the AYUSH ministry.
Due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry has decided that the last date/ cut-off date for admission in ASU&H Under Graduation and Post-graduate Courses will be 28th February 2021 for the academic year 2020-21, the AYUSH Ministry stated.
The ministry had earlier about the extension in the last date/cut-off date for completion of the internship for eligibility for admission in PG Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha and Unani courses for the academic session 2020-21.
It is for the information to all AIAPGET-2020 qualified candidates participating in AACCC PG Counselling 2020 that Ministry has received various representations from AIAPGET-2020 aspirants regarding the inability to complete their one-year rotatory internship by 31st October 2020 (last date for completing the internship for eligibility for admission in ASU & H PG courses for the academic year) due to the Covid-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown.
On this, the AACCC had informed that the Ministry has examined this matter and decided to extend the last date/cut-off date for completion of internship up to 31st December 2020 for eligibility for admission in ASU & H PG courses for the academic session 2020-21.
However, such candidates who have applied for AIAPGET-2020 based on the existing criteria for completion of the internship by 31st October 2020 must have been started their one-year compulsory rotatory internship on and before 1st November 2019. Therefore, the starting date of internship for such candidates shall be on or before 1st November 2019.
This clarification is applicable only for Academic Year 2020-21.
