Bravo: Truck driver's son clears NEET 2019, set to join MBBS

Jaipur: The son of a truck driver Abhishek, a native of Dhaulia village in Pokran tehsil of Jaisalmer district, is all set to join MBBS and become a doctor as he has now cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019.
Abhishek appeared for the NEET examination which is conducted every year for admission to medical and dental colleges at the All-India level. The question paper consisted of 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with total marks of 720 in which Abhishek scored 612. He secured 5,305th rank in the general category.
Abhishek belongs to the low-income group and has non-permanent means of income. His family consists of his parents and a younger brother who lives in Mohangarh. His father is class 8th pass and drives truck owned by his uncle. His mother is illiterate and is a housewife. Abhishek studied in the government school of the village till 8th standard. He secured 73 percent marks in 10th standard and 85 percent marks in the standard 12th
He was motivated by his uncle to go for medical examination and to take Medicine as a career. He then took admission at Allen Career Institute to prepare for the entrance examination.

The young one wishes to take admission at RNT Medical College Udaipur. However, he desires to become a medical teacher after completing his MBBS to help the students of rural areas.
