Issuing a strict directive to pharmacy institutions nationwide, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has mandated the immediate implementation of the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) and instructed all colleges to register on the official portal https://central.pci.ac.in/ and complete faculty onboarding within the next 15 days.

This aligned with the goal of ensuring accountability, transparency, and real-time faculty attendance tracking across pharmacy institutions.

The Council has directed all institutions to take the following steps, i.e., purchase of the AEBAS devices, onboarding and registrations on the https://central.pci.ac.in/ and further processing for the faculty registration on the respective URL of the institutions.
