NMC tells medical colleges to encourage student, faculty participation in Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2027 quiz, check details
New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has asked all medical colleges and institutions across India to widely publicise the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027 Quiz and encourage medical students and faculty members to participate.
The registration window closes on September 30, 2026.
The VBYLD 2027 is a flagship youth engagement programme under the National Youth Festival. The programme seeks to provide meaningful and structured participation to youth through a transparent, democratic and merit-based selection process.
According to the public notice issued by the NMC in this regard, the programme is scheduled to be held from 10th to 12th January 2027 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
As the first event of VBYLD 2027, the 'VBYLD 2027 Quiz' is presently live on the 'MY Bharat' and 'MyGov' portals and will remain open up to 30 September 2026. The quiz covers diverse areas, including national initiatives, technological advances, science and space technology, sports, current affairs, and policies and activities of the Government of India, including the health sector.
Therefore, all Medical Colleges / Medical Institutions have been asked by the NMC to widely disseminate the information regarding the 'VBYLD 2027 Quiz ' among their faculty members and medical students and encourage active participation. Institutions may also facilitate mass participation, wherever required, through appropriate institutional arrangements.
A digital certificate will be provided by the Department of Youth Affairs to every participant.
The NMC notice also enclosed a QR code for accessing the VBYLD 2027 Quiz. The QR code directs participants to the quiz hosted on the MY Bharat platform.
Reiterating the deadline, NMC has asked all medical colleges and institutions to give the initiative wide publicity and ensure that interested students and faculty members participate before September 30, 2026.
