Life Time Achievement Award to Dr Vivekanandam, JIPMER Director
Puducherry: Andhra Mahasabha, Puducherry has honoured Jipmer Director Dr.Vivekanandam with a 'Life Time Achievement Award' for his humble and meritorious service to the community in general and patients in particular for nearly four decades.
According to a Jipmer release, the award was conferred on him at the Vijayadasami celebration on October 19.
Dr.S.Vivekanandam hailing from Kovvur, Andhra Pradesh did his MBBS at Kakinada Ranga Raya Medical College and post graduation at King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam in 1981. Since then he has been rendering his services in different capacities except for a brief period of three years when he worked for Pondy State Service.
He was lauded for his longstanding and dedicated work because of which only he came up the ladder to the present post and the fact that he had organized the country's one of the most accredited medical and other entrance examinations of JIPMER spotlessly.
