Long or short menstrual cycle length is linked with increased risks of CVD (cardiovascular disease) and atrial fibrillation but not myocardial infarction, stroke, or heart failure, a 12-year-long study of over 58,000 women has shown.
The study was published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, an open-access, peer-reviewed journal of the American Heart Association.
