Gut Dysbiosis is a modern-day problem that recently gained importance with scientists discovering the astounding variety of microbes living on and in the human body. Children are more prone to changes in the gut microbiota,due to their sensitivity, leading to a variety of problems such as stomach ache, indigestion, vomitting etc.

In today’s video, to discuss about the interaction of gut dysbiosis with the development of pediatric constipation among toddlers or even older children, we have Dr. Lavenya R Padmanaban, Consultant- Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Rainbow Children's Hospital, Marathahalli, Bangalore.

She has an experience over 10 years of experience in Pediatrics and over 5 years of experience in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She completed her MBBS from Coimbatore Medical College and MD Pediatrics from the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children, Madras Medical College. Subsequently in the UK she completed MRCPCH and trained in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at King's College Hospital NHS Trust, London.

She has vast experience in managing children with common ailments and good expertise in managing children with complicated gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
