Amrita School of Medicine Faridabad to admit its first batch of 150 MBBS students this year

The Amrita School of Medicine, located at the campus of Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, is getting ready to welcome the first batch of 150 MBBS students in August this year.

Counselling sessions for NEET-qualified candidates are currently being held. The Amrita School of Medicine is a part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, ranked among the top 10 universities in India in the NIRF 2023 rankings.

NMC joins hands with Quality Council of India for assessment of rating medical Colleges

The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Quality Council of India (QCI) for the purpose of assessment of rating medical colleges.

The agreement in this regard was signed on July 5, 2023, at the Board's Conference Room in New Delhi. It was signed by President MARB Dr BN Gangadhar and Dr. Varinder Kanwar, the CEO of QCI.

NMC Medical Assessment and Rating Board is responsible for carrying out inspections for granting permission for establishment of new Medical College, increase of MBBS/PG/Super-speciality seats, renewal of permission for existing medical colleges.
