Not NExT, NEET PG 2024 to be held in March 2024
In a major update for all the aspirants seeking PG medical admissions next academic year, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the date for NEET PG 2024. As per the NBE notice, the NEET PG 2024 will tentatively be conducted on 3rd March next year.
Medical Dialogues has been reporting about the speculations surrounding NEET PG 2024. While it was earlier announced by the National Medical Commission (NMC) that the National Exit Test (NExT) would replace the NEET-PG examination in 2024, the exam was deferred by the Apex Medical Commission until further notice.

5777 DM, MCh, DrNB seats available for MCC NEET SS Counselling 2023, complete seat matrix here
For the ongoing NEET SS counselling 2023 being conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee, MCC under DGHS, a total of 5777 seats are up for grabs – 1935 DM and 1656 MCh seats in 45 specialities and 2186 DrNB seats in 27 specialities.
The maximum number of DM seats are available in the speciality of DM Cardiology with 487 Seats followed by DM Neurology with 301 seats and DM Medical Gastroenterology and Nephrology with 207 seats each.

Breakthrough: World's first eye transplant performed in New York
Surgeons in New York have performed the first-ever whole-eye transplant in a human, they announced on Thursday, an accomplishment being hailed as a breakthrough even though the patient has not regained sight in the eye.
In the six months since the surgery, performed during a partial face transplant, the grafted eye has shown important signs of health, including well-functioning blood vessels and a promising-looking retina, according to the surgical team at NYU Langone Health.
