The series of Income Tax raids on makers of pharma company Micro Labs, seems to have opened a can of worms exposing the unholy alliance of bribery between pharma companies and doctors in the country, with the department now pointing out that the pharma company gave out freebies amounting to about Rs 1000 crores to doctors and medical professionals
The CBDT on Wednesday accused the makers of the widely-known Dolo-650 medicine tablet of indulging in "unethical practices" and distributing freebies of about Rs 1,000 crore to doctors and medical professionals in exchange for promoting products made by the pharmaceutical group.

Denying relief on the exam schedule of MBBS entrance test, the Delhi High Court has dismissed the plea filed by 15 aspirants seeking postponement of the NEET 2022 exam.
With this, as per the schedule, the National Testing Agency will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) for 1872341 candidates at different Centres located in 497 Cities throughout the country including 14 Cities Outside India on 17 July 2022 (Sunday) from 02:00 P.M. to 05:20 P.M. (Indian Standard Time). The NEET 2022 admit cards are already out and candidates can download the same from the official website of NTA.
