NMC cancels 141 MBBS admissions done at private medical colleges in Maharashtra

Taking action against violation of prescribed admission procedure, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced the cancellation of 141 stray-vacancy-round MBBS admissions in private medical colleges in Maharashtra.

The Apex Medical Body took this decision as the counselling for admission to these seats was conducted at the institute level through email communication violating the directions issued by NMC.

NEET PG Counselling 2023: MCC stray vacancy round schedule revised again; check dates here

Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the reporting schedule for Stray Vacancy round of NEET PG, NEET MDS Counselling. The reporting for the stray vacancy round of NEET PG 2023 counselling shall take place from 17th October 2023 to 25th October 2023

Dengue patient dies at Noida hospital family alleges medical negligence

 A woman suffering from dengue died at a private hospital in Greater Noida after which her family members and relatives staged a protest, alleging medical negligence.

The woman, a resident of Dhanori village, was brought to the Yatharth Hospital under the Beta 2 police station area on Wednesday, police said.

"She passed away today at the hospital and family members accused the hospital of negligence," a police official said.
