NMC frames scheme to give relief to final yr medical students who returned from Ukraine, China
Bringing major relief to foreign medicos hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia-Ukraine war, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has decided to frame a scheme and grant relaxation to medical graduates who completed their MBBS course from a foreign medical institute without undergoing physical clinical training.
Under the scheme, Indian students in the last year of their MBBS course who left their institute abroad due to Covid or the Russia-Ukraine war and completed their studies and also got a certificate of completion of the course on a date to be notified by NMC will be permitted to appear in FMGE, stated the affidavit filed by the NMC before the Supreme Court.

No stipend as per NMC norms: Maharashtra medical college interns on strike
Raising their voice against the practice of non-payment of stipend, the MBBS Intern doctors belonging to Maharashtra based MIMSR Medical College & YCR Hospital have withdrawn their services from all Outpatient Department (OPDs), all ward work, departmental work and other services.
Submitting their Letter of Intimation to the Dean of the Institute, the Intern Doctors of 2017 batch referred to the NMC CRMI Guidelines- 2021, published on 18th November, 2021, Regulation 3 of Schedule IV of which mentions that "All Interns shall be paid as fixed by the appropriate fee fixation authority applicable to the institution/University/State."

IT Department raids multiple hospitals of Noida, Faridabad and Gurugram over tax evasion
Several renowned private hospitals based in Noida, Faridabad and Gurugram has come under the radar of the Income Tax (IT) Department, which conducted search operations in there to investigate the allegations of tax evasion.
A total number of four hospitals which were being raided by the IT Department include QRG hospital, SSB hospital, Accord Hospital and Sarvodaya Hospital, adds IANS.
