Mystery shrouds woman doctor’s death in Odisha’s Keonjhar
In an unfortunate incident, a woman doctor posted at the Baneikala primary health centre in the Joda area was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside her rented room on Sunday.
Returning home after the new year celebration, a lady doctor was found dead in Joda of Odisha’s Keonjhar district.

NMC to begin inspection at five new medical colleges in Rajasthan
Bringing good news to the medical aspirants in Rajasthan, the State Government is trying to ensure that academic sessions in five new medical colleges in the State commence from 2023-2024.
The inspection from the National Medical Commission (NMC) team is proposed to be held soon at these institutes located in Bundi, Dausa, Karauli, Alwar and Hanumangarh.
Therefore, the Rajasthan Medical Education Society (RMES), Jaipur has written to the principals of these new medical colleges to stay prepared for the same.

Health Ministry moves to abolish NBE, establish New Board under NMC itself
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS, NBE) may cease to exist soon since the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has proposed to replace it with a new autonomous board under the National Medical Commission i.e. Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (BEMS). Proposing amendments to the existing National Medical Commission (NMC) Act 2019, the Health Ministry has decided to incorporate the Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (BEMS) as the Fifth Autonomous Board under the National Medical Commission (NMC), which is the apex medical education regulatory body.
