Odisha female doctor found dead under mysterious circumstances
Keonjhar: In an unfortunate incident, a woman doctor posted at the Baneikala primary health centre in the Joda area was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside her rented room on Sunday.
Returning home after the new year celebration, a lady doctor was found dead in Joda of Odisha’s Keonjhar district.
It is unclear whether she committed suicide or was murdered since the reason behind her death is unknown. However, police have started an investigation into the case and the exact cause will be determined based on the postmortem report.
The deceased was a doctor at the Baneikala primary health centre in Joda and use to live in a rented room on the first floor of the health centre.
As she wanted to celebrate the new year with her friends, she took leave from work and went out. After celebrating the night, she returned late at night.

Feeling tired, she went straight to her room and locked the door from the inside. The next day when her maid came to work, the doctor was still in her room. Being suspicious, the maid called her and knocked on her door several times.
Even the neighbours rushed to the spot to check on the doctor but received no response. With no other options available, they contacted the police.
As per the Kalinga Tv report, when the police arrived at the spot, they broke the door and found the doctor lying unconscious on the bed. She was immediately taken to the Tata Steel Hospital in Joda where the doctors declared her brought dead on Sunday.
The incident caused major grief to her colleagues who described per personality as cheerful and dedicated to her job.
As some claims the incident to be suicide, while others are pointing it out as pre-planned murder. However, the police have sent her body for post-mortem and the investigation will process smoothly based on the results.
Furthermore, the police informed her parents about her sudden demise, which devastated them.
